Our client a well know and growing GALWAY organisation is currently
seeking to hire a strong COST ANALYST / ACCOUNTANT. This is a newly
created position and will suit someone who is looking to make a mark
with a company.
This role involves a number of different entities where you will be
reporting to the CEO around costing/savings within the company and how
to take advantage and grow as a result.
Responsibilities:
Assess the company**Apply on the website**;s scale of preference to
analyse the opportunity costs of given operations
Make analysis of collected information as well as keep records of
their findings and results
Collect and analyse information to determine costs of business
activities
Make an estimation of new and proposed costs of operations (across all
areas)
Analyse and prepare reports periodically for the difference between
actual operating costs and estimated costs
Maintain the documentation of data and any statistical arrangement in
cost analysis
Identify possible opportunities for improving the efficiency of
operations with the main aim of making profit
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget to make sure that
standard costs for all productions are calculated in line with budget
consideration
Development of weekly financial and non-financial KPIs
Advise the management in terms of financial issues
Provide the management board with reports on a weekly and monthly
basis containing the factors that affect cost or profit of goods and
services
Skills & Experience:
2 years + Cost Analysis experience
Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant
Strong communication and IT skills
